As you may or may not know,

my mom is frompalau.

 

palau is an island south east of the phillipines,

and north of australia.

(map below)

 

over the summer,

i spent a month in palau.

 

here are some pics and stuff,

from my vacation!

above:

these are the famous "rock islands"

(i know, lame name!)

the are made of limestone and coral,

and at low-tide they look like mushrooms,

'cause water wears down the rock.

the snorkeling is

REALLY GOOD

around and under the islands!
